Intimate Opulence - The Hari Hong Kong

A Boutique Hotel Stay in the Heart of Hong Kong.

During my recent trip to Hong Kong, I had the opportunity to stay in one of Hong Kong’s newest luxury hotel. The Hari Hong Kong is nestled between the bustling districts of Causeway Bay and Wan Chai.

The Hari’s prime location provides guests with easy access to some of the city's most popular attractions, including shopping malls, restaurants, and nightlife spots. I found it easy to navigate the area and also found it safe to walk around at night.

The hotel has quickly made a name for itself as one of the city's most prestigious hotels, offering a unique blend of sophistication and luxury. As a sister hotel to The Hari London in Belgravia, The hotel brings the same level of style and elegance to Hong Kong, making it a top choice for discerning travelers looking for an upscale experience in the city.

Room features:

The Hari features 210 guest rooms and suites, equipped with modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs.

Whether you're in the mood for a quick bite or a leisurely breakfast, Lucciola's warm and inviting atmosphere makes it the perfect place to start your morning.

Lucciola (located by the lobby) offers a delicious and varied breakfast menu for guests to enjoy. Guests can select from a range of international dishes, including both Western and Asian options, to cater to a variety of tastes and preferences.

Some of the popular breakfast items include fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, and a selection of cereals and yogurt. The restaurant also serves a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and fresh juices.

Hot tip: You can also eat in your room!

I enjoyed interacting with the staff at The Hari. Especially, the bellmen as they went above and beyond to provide a warm and friendly welcome and for providing helpful tips for exploring the city. They were always available to answer questions and provide assistance, whether it's helping me with transportation arrangements or providing directions to nearby attractions.

The Hari’s sleek and modern look. The hotel's interior is designed with a minimalist approach, using a neutral color palette with pops of bold colors and textures to create a sophisticated and stylish atmosphere.

Each guest room features a blend of elegant and functional design, with modern furnishings, high-quality linens, and premium amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The use of natural materials, such as wood and stone, adds warmth and texture to the space, while the sleek lines and clean finishes create a sense of spaciousness and tranquility.

The common areas, such as the lobby and restaurant, also feature contemporary design elements, such as striking artwork, unique sculptures, and a mix of modern and classic furnishings.

The hotel features an impressive collection of art throughout the hotel, showcasing the work of both established and emerging artists from around the world. The hotel's Art Program (rotating basis) aims to create a unique and engaging atmosphere for guests, with a range of different mediums and styles on display, including paintings, sculptures, and installations. It also features an extensive library, stocked with a variety of books that span multiple genres and interests.

The gym is located on the 5th floor and is open 24 hours a day, providing guests with a convenient way to stay active and fit during their stay. It features a range of cardio equipment, weight machines, and free weights.

The gym is spacious and modern, with large windows that provide natural light and stunning views of the city. The TechnoGym equipment is well-maintained and regularly updated, ensuring that guests have access to the latest fitness technology.

Zoku, The Hari’s restaurant and lounge on the 2nd floor, is a stylish and sophisticated destination for socializing and enjoying drinks with friends. The restaurant's name, meaning "clan" in Japanese, reflects the atmosphere of camaraderie and community that is fostered by the sleek and modern design.

The highlight of Zoku's design is the asymmetrical origami ceiling, which adds a unique and artistic touch to the space. The seating is comfortable and stylish, with a mix of lounge chairs, dining chairs, and tables, making it easy to find a spot to suit your preferences. In addition to the stylish design, Zoku also offers a range of delicious selection of cocktails, wines, and beers, as well as an extensive dining menu.

At Zoku, Chef Edwin Guzman draws on his extensive knowledge of Japanese cuisine to create dishes that are both authentic and innovative. The menu features a range of traditional Japanese dishes, such as sushi and sashimi, as well as unique and creative dishes that showcase Chef Guzman's talent and creativity.

Whether you're looking for a quick business lunch, a leisurely dinner, a relaxing brunch, or a lively happy hour, Zoku has something for everyone.

For those looking for a convenient lunch option, Zoku offers a business lunch menu that features a selection of delicious and satisfying dishes that can be enjoyed in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality or flavor.

For dinner, Zoku's menu expands to include a range of small plates, sharing dishes, and larger entrees, all featuring the same innovative yet timeless Japanese cuisine that Chef Guzman is known for.

On weekends, Zoku offers a delightful brunch menu that features a range of sweet and savory dishes, including a selection of Japanese-inspired breakfast items and creative brunch cocktails.

And for those looking to unwind after a long day, Zoku's happy hour offers a selection of discounted drinks and small plates, making it the perfect place to socialize and relax with friends or colleagues.

In addition to the delicious food, Zoku also offers a professional and attentive staff who are dedicated to providing a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.

Overall, staying at The Hari Hong Kong is an experience that offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and style. From the spacious and well-appointed rooms to the contemporary design and welcoming atmosphere, you can count on The Hari for your next stay in Hong Kong (and London!).
